Today we are celebrating our time with the adorably-pregnant Abby. Though we originally met when my daughter began attending a local Montessori school where Abby was a teacher, she joined Bella Luccè upon her college graduation and the rest is history. She’s been with me for 2 years now, through thick and thin, and has been an integral part of our success. Tomorrow she’s leaving us to prepare for her new life as a mommy. I have promised not to cry too much, but don’t hold me to that.
All facets of the Bella Luccè operation will close today at 2:30pm so that we can throw Abby the shower of the century. We hope you’ll join us in wishing her well…we’ll be back on duty at 8:30am Monday, May 19th. See you then!
UPDATE: We all had a fabulous time and I cried more than I promised, but no one had to carry me out, so I am counting that as a success. Abby stocked up on lots of good things for the babe including a gorgeous hand-embroidered day gown, the oh-so-essential Pack ‘n Play, a scad of precious outfits, the stroller/car seat/baby carrier system, a Diaper Champ (thank heavens for those) and a glider and ottoman for rocking the wee one to sleep.
