The United Nations Refugee Agency has selected today as World Refugee Day 2006 and it’s not too late to help. Please consider making a donation or attending a local event. Education is also paramount in the fight to end refugee suffering. Take a moment today and share information with your child. Not only will you be broadening the scope of their little world, you’ll also be equipping them with the empathy and empowerment needed to make a difference in the future. And likely creating a child who can realize the full spectrum of his own blessings…and that’s a beautiful thing in and of itself.
