3 tbsp. Dried Lavender Flowers* Process lavender flowers in a blender until they become a powder, turning off the blender and scraping down the sides as necessary. Whisk together lavender powder, milk, and honey in a glass bowl, then pour into a jar. Before each use, shake the jar and pour half of the mixture into the bath. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Makes enough for 2 baths. *Dried lavender flowers can be found in the spice section of gourmet and specialty stores. The “Safe Cometics Act” is safe for who???July 26, 2010Last week, a new bill was introduced to Congress. Titled the “Safe Cosmetics Act”, it purports to protect consumers from “unsafe cosmetics.” In reality, it will decimate small business and reduce your access to safe, natural products…WITHOUT offering additional consumer protection. Bella Luccè intends to fight this bill very step of the way, returning to DC to lobby against it (if need be), as we’ve done with previously drafted legislation that bows to special interest groups without consideration for consumers and small business. Thousands of small businesses and industry leaders are rallying together, but we’ll need your help!
