The “Safe Cometics Act” is safe for who???
July 26, 2010
Last week, a new bill was introduced to Congress. Titled the “Safe Cosmetics Act”, it purports to protect consumers from “unsafe cosmetics.” In reality, it will decimate small business and reduce your access to safe, natural products…WITHOUT offering additional consumer protection. Bella Luccè intends to fight this bill very step of the way, returning to DC to lobby against it (if need be), as we’ve done with previously drafted legislation that bows to special interest groups without consideration for consumers and small business. Thousands of small businesses and industry leaders are rallying together, but we’ll need your help! I invite you to visit the official Oppose the SCA webpage to learn more about the bill and how you can help. I’ll also be a guest on a radio program discussing the bill today at 1pm EST. Please see the website for details and tune in if you’re able…
