 Regular readers will likely know that I am obsesses with tea. And I don’t mean mildly obsessed. 3 tbsp. Dried Lavender Flowers* Process lavender flowers in a blender until they become a powder, turning off the blender and scraping down the sides as necessary. Whisk together lavender powder, milk, and honey in a glass bowl, then pour into a jar. Before each use, shake the jar and pour half of the mixture into the bath. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Makes enough for 2 baths. *Dried lavender flowers can be found in the spice section of gourmet and specialty stores. Heart Spa ProjectFebruary 22, 2010I recently received a call for help from Lisa Holland, a Columbia-based therapist who’s passionate about women and heart health. She.s hosting the first “Heart Spa” event, where women can connect with one another in a festive atmosphere, all while learning tools they can use to decrease stress, live happier lives and keep their hearts healthy in the meantime. The event promises “a spa-like environment with relaxing therapeutic hand massage and healthy hours d’oeuvres, berry seltzers and dark chocolate” (sounds like my kind of party). Bella Luccè donated products to be used during the massages at the event and goodies for you to take home, too!
