3 tbsp. Dried Lavender Flowers* Process lavender flowers in a blender until they become a powder, turning off the blender and scraping down the sides as necessary. Whisk together lavender powder, milk, and honey in a glass bowl, then pour into a jar. Before each use, shake the jar and pour half of the mixture into the bath. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Makes enough for 2 baths. *Dried lavender flowers can be found in the spice section of gourmet and specialty stores. Kudos all around…August 4, 2008Amidst my packing for DC, I am marveling at my new blog software. Did you notice that we spiffed up the place? Brooke Stant, my longtime friend and collaborator, first designed this blog in early 2005 and she’s done it again with an updated version that allows comments from our readers, among other groovy new upgrades. Many, many thanks Brooke! Some of my previous entries are displaying some funky characters that apparently got jumbled in the upgrade, so please disregard those as time doesn’t allow me to adjust them tonight. You can leave a message below any entry by clicking the “comments” button. I’d love to hear your thoughts… Also, my website guru (Padraic) just created a custom countdown clock to count down the days and minutes until Bella Luccè’s new Arabian Odyssey collection debuts.
