Dry, chapped lips are an unfortunate reality of winter. Thankfully, outrageously priced lip scrubs don’t have to be. You can recreate a simple version of those department store concoctions at home- for a fraction of the price. For less than a nickel per application, you can use this handy little tip to help loosen and gently remove dead skin for a Pitt-worthy pucker. Take a pinch of brown sugar and gently rub onto moistened lips (don’t attempt this dry or you’ll risk raw, overly exfoliated lips). Rinse with warm water and immediately apply chapstick. I do this routine several times per week throughout autumn and winter and it yields beautiful results in seconds!

I love me some BethMarch 3, 2008Beth is an absolute firecracker with twice the energy I have on my very best day. And that is why we are ever-so-thankful to have her on our team. She initially joined Bella Luccè in January to head up the production of a large private-label project, but she’s so insanely good that we’re hoping to keep her on with us after that months-long task is complete. *crossing my fingers* In her past life, she owned and managed a series of restaurants and she’s brought a wealth of experience to our production kitchen by helping us refine procedures and boost efficiency.
